Safe in Sound is a UK based music-culture movement, dedicated to dismantling the isolation and stigma surrounding men’s mental health using the power lyrics and the spoken word.
Your part of the herd so join our parade.
the bass is too heavy // we are your backline
Safe in Sound is a music culture movement and a zero-static welfare utility, using the love of music to help. that sound that's integrated into the physical infrastructure our souls. We monitor the human BPM. When the noise gets too heavy or the signal starts to clip, we are the grounding wire.
Through our HUBS and our #LIVE75 mission, we ensure that our heartbeat stays at a steady signal. We are on-site, in the crowd, and behind the barricade—ensuring that the music stays loud, the lyrics resonate and people stay safe.
Infrastructure for the soul. Stability for the Herd.
75% of all suicides in the UK are men. We are "redlining"—pushing ourselves until the internal noise distorts and our system fails. We ignore the warning signs, but that’s how blowouts happen; we isolate ourselves for fear of judgment and stigma.
SafeInSound provides a zero-judgment space to help you check the signals of your own mental health using the language we all know: Music. We use the lyrics as a method of language that resonate with us socially and culturally, to rationalise the internal noise and relate to them.
We are non-clinical; we speak and explain naturally, just as we would in our own social herds.
IDENTIFY THE STATIC: We help you pinpoint the noise-whether it's burnout, isolation, or the pressure of the everyday.
ADJUST THE FADERS: Through our #LIVE75 project, we work on practical ways to bring the stress down and your clarity up.
RECOVER YOUR SIGNAL: This is the ultimate goal. We help you find your grounding, stabilize your output, and find a clear signal in all the distortion.
We aren't here to "fix" you like you’re a broken machine, we’re here to help you engineer a better internal sound. Because once you recover the signal, the rest of the world starts to make sense again.
NO JARGON. NO FILTERS. NO STIGMA. JUST ZERO-STATIC SUPPORT.

TRANSMISSION FAILURE
In 2024/2025, men continued, and still continue to account for roughly 3 out of every 4 suicide registrations in England and Wales,
This equates to 75% of the total population.
This isn't just a statistic; it’s a total system failure in our society.
Safe in Sound exists because this frequency has to change.

UNIVERSAL SIGNAL
Music isn't a hobby;
it’s a vital utility for self-regulation.
Data shows that 83% of people (with men representing a massive portion of the heavy-consumption ("power listeners") use music as their main tool for navigating daily life.
In the music industry specifically, where the "Herd" works and plays, this engagement is nearly 100%.

RECOVERY PROCESS
"84% of listeners exclaim that music allows them to process and rationalize life’s challenges."
When the static gets too loud, the music provides that warm hug. A major study found that 83.8% of people specifically use music to "go through a process and come out the other side," allowing them to rationalise problems that they couldn't otherwise put into words. It’s the #LIVE75 project in action.

THE RAW STATISTICS
your not alone //
bypass the stigma
Our aim is to significantly reduce the stigma, judgement and isolation that men experience when talking about their problems or any issues. Like elephants in the wild, we remain stoic, quiet and carry all that weight.
Our pioneering Safe in Sound app is our mental health utility, using lyrics to help identify the internal noise, designed specifically for men who feel isolated and have experienced stigma.
We use the power of music to check your levels, stabilize your output, and stay grounded when the volume gets too loud.

have your say
Sometimes the hardest signal to find is the honest one. #LIVE75 RADIO is our dedicated broadcast platform, cutting through the social noise to bring you raw, unfiltered conversations. Available on Spotify and YouTube, we’re plugging in with artists, engineers, and industry peers who aren’t afraid to talk about the static-the mental health battles that often stay off-mic. These sessions are more than just interviews; they are collective soundchecks for the soul. We explore the reality of "redlining" and how our guests have successfully recalibrated their own output to stay with the herd. Each episode champions the Safe in Sound mission, proving that vulnerability is the highest-gain setting we have. No scripts, no clinical filters, just real people talking in a language awe often feel intimidating...honesty. Tune in, and realize you aren’t the only one dealing with a distorted feed.
THE SIGNAL IS LIVE. ARE YOU LISTENING?

sCRATCH THAT WAX // HIT THE GROOVE
We don’t just use music to talk; we use it to broadcast. 7RAN5MISSION RECORDS is our independent label initiative and creative relay, built to give the Herd a platform that refuses to be filtered. We’re bypassing the industry gatekeepers to release tracks that carry the weight of real experience—the grit, the static, and the recovery. Every release acts as a high-gain transmitter for our mission, turning authentic stories into a sustainable force for our cause. We prioritize artists who have navigated the "redline" and come back with a signal worth sharing. This isn't about the charts; it’s about the frequency of connection and the power of the 75%. All revenue generated from the label is patched directly back into our frontline support services and the #LIVE75 protocol. We are proof that the right track at the right time can bypass the noise and save a life.
festival hubs //
#LIVE75
The festival floor is a high-voltage environment. When the lights, the volume, and the crowd hit peak frequency, it’s easy for the internal signal to redline. That’s why we’re there at our dedicated #LIVE75 HUBS to help you support, chat, chill out and become part of the parade.
